President
Bob MacDonald is the President and founder of AVID Services, a leader in commercial restoration and plumbing solutions. With more than 27 years of experience in the construction and restoration industry, Bob has established AVID Services as a trusted partner for commercial property owners managing multiple facilities.
Since founding the company eight years ago, he has directed its growth with a focus on integrity, technical excellence, and client-centered service. Under his leadership, AVID Services has earned a reputation for delivering efficient, high-quality restoration and plumbing services tailored to the unique needs of complex commercial operations.
Bob began his career as a General Contractor in Florida at the age of 24, where he gained extensive expertise in commercial remodeling, damage assessment, and project management. His comprehensive understanding of building systems and operational continuity has been instrumental in guiding AVID Services’ success.
Today, Bob continues to oversee the company’s strategic direction, ensuring every project reflects AVID’s commitment to professionalism, reliability, and lasting client relationships.
Pat MacDonald
Vice President
Pat is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran with a deep-rooted foundation in the marine and power generation industries. He began his career serving his country, spending nearly a decade in the marine sector, where he developed the discipline and technical expertise that would shape the rest of his professional journey.
After earning his Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license, Pat transitioned into the energy sector by joining General Electric, where he worked on gas turbines in power plants. During his 11-year career with GE, he advanced from hands-on field roles involving the construction and maintenance of power plants to project management and senior leadership positions. In his final role with the GE family, Pat led a global installation team responsible for overseeing a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of energy projects around the world.
Following his tenure at GE, Pat embraced a new challenge by joining AVID Services, then a small restoration company. Working alongside a passionate and dedicated team, he helped transform AVID into a recognized and trusted leader in the commercial restoration and plumbing industry. Today, he serves as the company's Visionary, providing long-term strategic direction, fostering innovation, and driving sustainable growth.
Throughout his career, Pat has excelled at the intersection of technical execution and strategic leadership. He is passionate about building high-performing teams, scaling businesses, and solving complex challenges with clarity, purpose, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Domingo Guajardo
Chief Operations Officer
Domingo Guajardo is the Chief Operations Officer of Avid Services. Since joining in March 2026, he has led efforts to standardize operating procedures, optimize project management and daily operations, and establish key performance metrics across the organization.
Domingo brings more than a decade of executive-level operations and program leadership from General Electric's Power Generation business, where he most recently served as Global Resource Director for the Gas Plants segment. In that role, he directed global strategic planning for field engineer training and development, managed financial planning for new-hire resourcing, and allocated talent to high-impact, high-visibility projects across a portfolio valued at approximately $14 billion.
Prior to that, as Service Manager for GE's Aero Gas Turbine installation business, Domingo led a 130-person field team across multiple regions and time zones throughout the Americas. He joined GE in 2011 as a Field Technician after earning his Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license, and was promoted to Field Engineer within 18 months, leading new-construction support for gas turbine-powered power plants.
Domingo began his career in construction, working as a draftsman while pursuing studies in Architectural Design, before moving into construction estimating and materials procurement — specializing in interior design and coordinating the exportation of construction materials for projects in Bermuda. In 2010, he transitioned into aviation, laying the technical foundation for his subsequent rise through GE's power generation organization.
Domingo's career reflects a consistent thread across industries: hands-on technical credibility paired with the ability to lead large, distributed teams and multi-billion-dollar portfolios. He now applies that same discipline to driving operational excellence at Avid Services.
Rob Gardner
General Manager
Rob Gardner is a seasoned expert in the commercial and residential services industry with over two decades of experience spanning light construction, remodeling, and franchise operations. Since 2004, Rob has specialized in scaling multi-system franchises, bringing deep expertise in financial analysis, operational strategy, and executive leadership. As a Florida state licensed contractor since 2007, he combines hands-on technical knowledge with strategic business acumen.
Before transitioning into the services industry, Rob built a strong foundation in finance through key roles at financial institutions and broker-dealers. From 1996 to 2004, he served as a Fixed Income Sales Trader, Nasdaq Market Maker, and Vice President of Securities Trading gaining deep experience in capital markets, client strategy, and high-pressure decision-making.
Rob holds a degree in Accounting from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University, where he developed the analytical and financial skills that continue to drive his success today. A proud Spartan, Rob was a member of the Michigan State Football team from 1992 to 1995, earning his spot as a walk-on and exemplifying the grit and determination that continues to define his professional journey.
Robert Watkins
Account Executive
Robert is an Account Executive at Avid Services and brings over 15 years of construction experience, including 7 years in restoration, with roots as a U.S. Army engineer building and rebuilding damaged structures. He has led disaster recovery projects nationwide, restoring hospitals, assisted living facilities, historic towns, and large commercial properties. Certified as a Commercial Drying Specialist, Water Restoration Technician, and Large Loss Specialist, Robert combines technical expertise with hands-on leadership. Today, he leverages this experience to focus on sales, business relationships, and business development, helping organizations grow through trusted partnerships.
Steven Wissinger
Sales Leader and Risk Manager
Steven is the Sales Leader and Risk Manager at Avid Services, where he drives growth and safeguards client relationships through proactive risk strategies. With more than 30 years of business development, consulting, and operations experience, he has led multimillion-dollar initiatives across industries and continents. His service as a U.S. Army Infantry and Logistics Officer, overseeing $30M in assets and leading 70 soldiers, instilled the discipline, accountability, and risk awareness that define his leadership today.
Sherri Layton
Business Manager
Business Sherri is the glue at Avid Plumbing. She brings over 15 years of service industry experience and a deep sense of ownership to everything she does. Known for her honesty, transparency, and hands-on leadership, Sherri treats the business as if it were her own—balancing operational excellence with genuine connection. Her extroverted nature makes her approachable and engaging, while her resourcefulness and determination ensure that every challenge is met with a solution.
Outside of work, Sherri is passionate about giving back through a charity bingo fundraising group she helps run and support. She’s a proud Gigi to six wonderful grandchildren, and her home is full of love (and energy!) thanks to three dogs, two cats, and her husband—a retired Captain of the City of Tampa Fire Department. Together, they keep life exciting, full, and meaningful.

Operations Manager for the Restoration Division
Ryan is the Operations Manager for the Restoration Division at Avid Services, and brings a unique blend of precision, care, and leadership to every project. When Ryan was a project manager with AVID, he completed multiple million-dollar projects successfully and independently. With multiple years in the restoration industry and nearly a decade of experience in Healthcare Facilities Management—spanning hospitals and senior living communities—Ryan is well-versed in managing complex environments with a steady hand and a solutions-first mindset.
Tyler Bidwell
Service Manager
Tyler has over 16 years of hands-on experience in the plumbing industry. He brings a deep and comprehensive knowledge base spanning all major sectors, including commercial, industrial, and multi-family systems. His career has been built on a foundation of technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, code-compliant plumbing solutions.
For the past 5 years, he has successfully led operations at a commercial and industrial service company, overseeing complex service projects, managing teams, and ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction. Additionally, he has 3 years of experience in new construction plumbing, where I was responsible for full-system installations from the ground up, collaborating closely with contractors, inspectors, and engineers.
His expertise includes 8 years of specialized work in commercial service and multi-family properties, providing tailored plumbing solutions for high-demand environments. He is proficient in a wide range of plumbing systems and applications, including:
